Discovery Mining Opens New York Office and Continues Nationwide Expansion of Team
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 18, 2006 - Discovery Mining, Inc., a leader in electronic discovery technology, today announced the opening of an office in Manhattan and the addition of Phaidra Knight, Esq. and Mike Giroux to the growing team of sales professionals.
The new office comes on the heels of employee growth and continuing profitability for the company. Locations on both coasts offers more flexibility and extends the company's customer support reach.

Phaidra Knight, Esq. joins the sales organization, bringing industry knowledge and relevant professional relationships to the company. Phaidra's responsibilities include increasing presence and revenue in the North East region of the United States. Prior to Discovery Mining, she was Of Counsel/Manager of Legal Business Development with RJ Lee Group. She was also an Associate Attorney with Lord, Bissell & Brook. Phaidra has several years experience working with and consulting in Electronic Discovery. She holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Phaidra is currently a member of the USA National Women's Rugby Team and is based at our New York City office.
As the South East Account Manager, Michael Giroux will lead the sales efforts for that region. Michael brings several years of consultative sales and account management experience to Discovery Mining. Most recently, he was a Sales Executive for West Group a leading publisher of legal research services/software and subsidiary of The Thomson Corporation, a $7.8 billion global provider of integrated information solutions for business. Prior to West Group, Michael was a Sales Executive for Merck & Co., Inc. where he was ranked in the top 10 of over 100 sales representatives in the Western Region. Michael holds a B.S. in Broadcast Management & Media Sales from University of Kansas School of Journalism.
